Why is Animal Farm Important?
The book Animal Farm by George Orwell is important because it teaches us things that we should know. One thing that it teaches us is that if we don't agree with something, we can change it and make it fair. Old Major tries convincing all of the animals in the farm to revolt against Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones has the animals work all day for him but they don't get anything they want in return. Because Mr. Jones does this to them, the boar, Old Major shares a dream that he had about revolting against him. Since we're people, we can have these problems with rulers and bosses, almost anyone. We can change unfair things by fighting for what we believe in. You may think that someone else will just do it later so you don't even try, but why wait? I don't think that you should wait for someone else to do what you could've done long before. You might even be gone before it happens. So, I think this book teaches us that we shouldn't wait for something unfair to change later; we should try to make things better. Even if it doesn't happen, it is still worth it because you're fighting for something you believe in and for a good cause. These are some of the reasons why I think Animal Farm is important.

What is Power?
Power is strength and control over something. It is might and force and the ability to do or act. Someone earns or keeps power by being smart and confident and saying what they know is right. They try to be the best they can be. They try not to mess up, because if they do they might lose that power. Losing and not being trustworthy or doing something that will make people dislike you can also cause you to lose power. The people who disagree with your beliefs and what you do aren't helping you keep your power. What holds the most power in my life is my family, especially my mom, because they all teach me so much and inspire me. They also make the rules i have to follow. What makes me powerful is my personality and how nice I am to everyone that makes them feel better about themselves.
